Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Saratoga Springs, NY (New York healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Labor and Delivery Unit
- Start Date: September 22, 2025
- End Date: December 20, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2160-$2310
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Prior travel RN experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (American Heart Association preferred)
- Recent Fetal Monitoring certification (within the past two years)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Strong nursery and clinical support skills
- Must not reside in the following NY counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany
L&D RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care and assessments in the EPIC charting system
- Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth process
- Demonstrate flexibility by working every other weekend and holiday as required
